Oona and Gage Brown, ice dancers for the United States national team, are showcasing their incredible skills with a mix of elegance and heavy metal music!
Gage and Oona Brown, the United States pewter medalists for 2019, showcased their expertise in camera work with their incredible shots. This video captures their talent during a free dance event at the ice rink in Bryant’s Park Winter Village in New York City in 2020.
The Olympic dancing squad consists of seven children from the same family. In 2018 and 2019, they represented the United States national team and secured eighth and ninth place finishes in the Junior Grand Prix, respectively.
In 2009, they were inspired by their older sister who started taking ice skating classes. Gage, at the age of seven, followed in his sister’s footsteps. Oona, on the other hand, began at the age of five and fiercely navigated the rink without any assistance or willingness to give up during her first year.
Oona and Gage attempted to pursue their own careers as individual artists, which eventually resulted in the creation of their sibling duo. They both acknowledged that performing alone was very stressful, but they find comfort and confidence in playing together during concerts.
