At Newsner, we have previously covered various topics like this, so when we stumbled upon a photo of a father and his sleeping daughter on a plane journey – a photo that has sparked numerous comments – we couldn’t resist sharing it…
The discussion began when a Reddit user named u/therra123 shared a heartwarming moment between a father and his daughter on the r/MadeMeSmile thread.
The passenger uploaded a photo of a girl sleeping on her seat during a flight. Instead of using the armrest as a pillow, her father placed his hand under her cheek.
At this stage, we must state our viewpoint that this appears to be nothing more than a father fulfilling his responsibilities. The post was appropriately labeled as “wholesome moments,” but some Redditors had a different perspective.
Surprisingly, the father faced criticism for his actions, as some individuals pointed out that he could have handled the situation more effectively.
The post became very popular online, receiving around 60,000 upvotes and many comments.

Another person “Do you not have your towel? A towel is the most important thing you can carry.”
Another person added “Shows a distinct lack of creative problem solving. 45 min you say and couldn’t think of a practical solution. Huh!”

Some people were more understanding of the dad and his actions. Interestingly, we also belong to that group!
