“Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro has shared a devastating photo of his young daughter just one day before her 4th birthday. Such a shame.
Alfonso Ribeiro, known for his role in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” recently shared that his daughter, Ava Sue, was in a scooter accident. Unfortunately, she sustained injuries that required surgery. This incident occurred just one day before Ava Sue’s fourth birthday.
Ava Sue got hurt when she fell off her sit-down scooter. Sadly, she ended up with severe scars, lots of bruises, and burns on her right elbow, shoulder, and around her right eye.
Alfonso and his wife Angela Ribeiro both shared updates about Ava Sue’s condition.
The day before turning 4 wasn’t the best day. I want to express my sincere gratitude to [Kare MD Skin Health] for their prompt emergency service and procedure to reduce the chances of scarring. I’m incredibly proud of how brave my little girl was during the surgery. Thank you to the medical staff for their swift response.
Angela on the other hands said that she had a feeling that something bad would happen, calling it a motherly instinct.
She posted that she informed her family, children, babysitter, and friends who were assisting in preparing for Ava’s birthday party that they would not be doing anything risky or unsafe that could result in a visit to the emergency room. She emphasized her words by making everyone look directly at her.
The girl tumbled off the scooter not long after her mom had foreseen.
Ava Sue visited Kare MD Skin Health where Dr. Raffy determined that she required surgery to reduce the chances of scarring.
The mom mentioned that it wasn’t a fun way to spend the last day as a 3-year-old, but her daughter was brave. She also said she would give her some extra cuddles that night.
Kare MD Skin Health’s staff dedicated their time to send warm birthday wishes to their young patient on Instagram. They also expressed gratitude to Alfonso for entrusting his daughter to their care.
