Queen Camilla offered support to Prince William’s ‘first love’
Queen Camilla met Prince William’s “first love,” Rose Farquhar, as his wife Kate Middleton is busy battling an unspecified type of cancer.
On Thursday, May 23, she showed up at a memorial service, joining 500 mourners to remember her friend, Ian Farquhar, after he died at the age of 78 recently.
There, King Charles’ wife spent time with Rose Farquhar, who became Prince William’s first ever girlfriend when the two dated back in 2000.
As reported by Daily Mail, she is the daughter of Ian Farquhar and is now married to Gorge Gemmell.
Despite both of them moving on as love mates, the two still remain great friends.
The Prince of Wales even attended Rose Farquhar’s wedding that took place not even two years ago in December 2022.
In fact, the royal family is closely linked to her family as Ian Farquhar had shared a friendly bond with King Charles because they lived near each other for a long time.
He was found dead at his home on March 6 with the cause being listed as “struggling to breathe.”
Queen Camilla attended his service for extending support to Rose Farquhar for her loss.
Her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, was present at the venue, too. He watched them closely.
