“Dad? Mom?” Kyle called out. He didn’t have a cell phone, so he decided to wait, thinking we were just running late.
Meanwhile, we were waiting at the bus stop in our town. The bus driver realized his mistake and admitted that our son had been dropped off in a different town — he had accidentally called out the wrong stop.
We rushed to that town immediately, but when we got there, Kyle was no longer at the bus stop.

“Sweetheart, where are you? Dad and I have been looking everywhere for you,” I said, my voice trembling.
“I’m with Frank. I’m in a dark, dirty room, but…” The call cut off. My heart dropped. Who was this Frank?
